Camp a Low Hum 2024 - Weekend one

Patrick3 min read

Camp A Low Hum (CALH) is (was) a music festival that ran from 2004 to 2014. I was lucky enough to go to the 2013 and 2014 CALH, and then it just stopped.

Fast forward 10 years, past kids, jobs, global pandemics and I hear that camp is coming back, for one last* time.

The 2024 CALH had massive demand when it was announced, so it was split over two weekends, February 15-18 for weekend one and Feb 22-25 for weekend two. I went to the first one.

The weather this year was perfect - only very light rain one morning and perfect weather for the rest. This was in stark contrast to 2014 when we were rained on heavily for almost the entirety of camp.

This isn't a review - I have so many thoughts on CALH and love it immensely, but anything I write just won't to it justice. There are better reviews out there:

Below are a few photos and then a playlist of some of the great bands that played this year.

*I say last, because that is what it was announced as. Blink has since said there might be another one, at some point in the future - maybe around 2027. If there is, I'll be there again.

I've put together a Camp A LOW Hum 2024 spotify playlist of some bands I saw and enjoyed over the weekend  - there are lot of bands I really enjoyed that don't have records yet or don't have them on spotify, so this isn't an exhaustive list - but it'll give you a good taste. You can see the playlist here:
